Applying product labels by hand Switch over to self-adhesive labels

Labeling exercise began as a marketing strategy long back. Began with the use of these label emblazoned on product boxes as catchy slogans ‘Now or Never,’ ‘First or get lost,’ “Never before and never again offer.’ The labels with promotional slogans became instant hit. They worked wonders.

Self adhesive labels we see on pharma or any product for that matter are a wonderful way of presenting product information to the customers and they could be used for a variety of purposes. As the self adhesive labels are pretty much easy to attach to the product (where ever desired) they form an integral part of product packaging.

The product labels that come as leaflet and booklet labels make labeling a finer choice for certain products where huge amount of information has to be presented on the promotional labels.

Not just as on pack promotions these self adhesive labels are used. From product identification to product pricing these are used for various purposes, in fact the use of these can be extended in moving as well; to help mark the articles by writing on the labels that help in the easy identification, so on.

The self adhesive labels also help in giving genuine product/s to the customers; making the product impossible to open and use before customers brought them.

Self adhesive labels come in different colors, sizes and can be custom made to fit the requirements and it pays to choose the product labels that match the product as well as other requirements. However, there are some properties associated with the self-adhesive labels:

Permanent adhesive labels are those where the label is placed with no subsequent removing planned. These are the labels that require use of a solvent for the removal and even in the event of removal it likely results in tearing of the printed stock, and these aren’t the expensive product labels around.

Then there are semi-permanent self adhesive labels which use glue that facilitates removal and repositioning of the product label after its initial application. But it has to be noted that some of the semi-permanent labels become permanently adhesives after a set time.

Then there is the removable self adhesive labels where in the label can be easily removed (with no residue left on the surface) with a simple pull/lift from the area it was originally applied. They otherwise stick good enough and in place permitting their normal usage and handling.

However, there can be special situations that would call for special self adhesive labels. As in products that would stay in freezer/s call for the permanent labels as the labels should remain in place despite getting exposed to extreme temperature conditions most time and standard glues are not a choice for these labels.

Those who would like to leave behind the paper based labels can switch to decals or etching or even the screen printing. Check to know more about self adhesive labels here. If you like to learn more about new ways of label printing, visit the site http://www.fix-a-form.com/
