Packaging is almost as important as what is in the box
When purchasing a gift for someone, or even re-gifting something that you know they will put to good use, the first thing they see is the outside of the box. They can tell if you put in time and effort and you can show you really care with what kind of paper, ribbon, accessories, and personal touches. The money you spend is not as important as the energy you put forth to show someone your feelings. Birthdays, anniversaries, work accomplishments, babies, and any other occasion that is cause for celebration is worth putting in the time and creativity to make the outside of the packaging as beautiful as the sentiment on the inside.
Boxes are not the only way to present a thoughtful and caring present. Shopping bags are a great way to show your personality or the character of the person you are giving the gift to. You can get creative and paint them, or put stamps on them, or clip out pictures that are important to the both of you or to the occasion you are celebrating on the front and back and then place the gift inside among cheerful and bright tissue paper or confetti. Instead of lugging around a big box, the handles on a shopping bag are convenient to carry it to a celebratory dinner or party, and then when they are ready to leave it gives them the opportunity to be able to carry it with ease.
Let’s face it; one of the best presents you can get someone is not bought in a department store, or a gift card, or even jewelry. Bubble wrap is purchased from a packaging store and brings countless hours of entertainment to young people and elderly just the same. Hearing those tiny little pops brings a smile to anyone’s face and that joy is inexpensive and available to anyone at a very low cost. Imagine having an amazing package with personal touches and creative integrity being opened to find more packaging products inside, but not just any wrapping, but bubble wrap. Not only will they laugh heartily at the gift you have given them, they will laugh for as long as there are bubbles available to pop. You will be the talk of the party and they will look forward to the gift you may give them the next time and how you are going to top that one.
Watching someone unwrap a present is a joyous and fun occasion, even when you know what you got them. Watching their faces when they unwrap other people’s presents and the suspense of pulling ribbons and untying bows is so much fun, you sometimes wish there were more holidays to throw a party for and that birthdays happened more often than once a year. But, with how inexpensive packaging and wrapping materials are, you can give a gift any time the feeling is warranted. Giving gifts is always welcomed and the outside is usually just as important as what is inside of the box or bag.
