Diversity in a new Galaxy

Ford is proud to announce its support of UK talent. Ford UK has provided Diversity the winners of “Britain’s Got Talent” with a brand new Ford Galaxy in London. The Galaxy will be used by the group as their support vehicle as hey ravel around the country showing off their talent.

The Diversity group is made up of individuals aged between 13 and 25; they are all from East London and Essex. They collected their new 2.0 litre TDCi 140PS Titanium model from Ford’s manufacturing Dagenham Diesel Centre.

Jon Wellsman, Ford Britain sales director, said: “As the Ford car offering the most space and versatility, the Ford Galaxy is well matched to Diversity’s requirements for space for multiple passengers and equipment. Essex is Ford’s spiritual home and I’m delighted that we are able to support another of our county’s favourites.”

Danielle Banjo, Diversity’s manager, said: “The logistics of organising Diversity’s 11 members, plus a couple of managers, to get to all the group’s events are now a lot simpler thanks to Ford’s loan. The lads like their Ford Galaxy’s impressive features such as LED interior lights, USB connectivity and glass panorama roof – all standard on this model.”

It is nice to see Ford supporting a UK act; Ford is heavily involved with the UK motoring history. The Ford plants in Dagenham provided thousands of jobs and made Fords cheap enough for everyone to afford. It is saddening when you drive through Dagenham now and see the large empty car parks which were previously occupied by new cars fresh off the production line.
