Superb WAM Sunday Bands highlighted in Perth
Perth, the capital along with the largest place of the Australian State plus the fourth most populous city is a picturesque place to take a look at, with the sites along with the superior things to be noticed. This is a monthly Sunday afternoon live show that has got high-quality local acts. The show is free, the performance stars by 1:00 PM and ends by 3:00PM, while shopping in this lazy Sunday afternoon you can hear excellent performances of local artists. Everyone can observe like children of any age which offers live WA acts in the heart of the area, on the waterfall stage at Forrest Place.
Performances are planned every Sunday, last January 9, 2011, Dave Johnson had his performance, and he is a solo artist that is a local of Western Australia featuring his folk music. Along with Dave Johnson, the wonderful singer songwriter Prita Grealy also rendered her folk melodies ballads and jazzy tunes and Jane Germain and Ian Simpson joined them also. Jane Germain is a songwriter with her Chinese heritage. Her songs are about feelings old and new with inventively rhythmic as it is melodic. Ian Simpson, a winner of 6 golden guitars, then accompanies her. Adam Gare had his supporting act in the show. He is an experienced musician that can play mandolin and fiddle together and also Theremin with his high sweet tenor voice.
Last February 13, 2011 the artist Seven Weapon did their performance combined with Andrew Ewing sharing his music with a blues or folk genre. To complete the show, the Caf? Jazz also had their performance with songs that is mixed into jazz that made the passersby dancing and swaying.
The show continued by March 6, 2011, now featuring Brandon Lewis, a delightful guitarist, considered as Perth very best kept secret. De Ness Jazz Kabaret also had her performance with her alternative genre.
By this approaching March 27, 2011 performances of David Lazarus will be showcased, the 18-year-old young acoustic-pop-singer songwriter that consistently accompanies his singing style with her everlasting smile – takes one on an acoustic, rhythmical journey, lyrically exploring the everyday joys of life and he will be joined by the Under Cover Big Band, a band that plays different styles such as Latin, Rock, Tamla Motown, Swing, Pop and others, will join him. The show will be at the Murray Street Mall.
