Love Baseball? You Can Swing for the Fences with Tucson Real Estate

Tucson is sometimes considered the little brother of Phoenix however that does not mean there are no sports for the Tucson sports fans. Tucson has been home to Major League Baseball spring training for quite some time now but as of 2011, Tucson real estate is the proud home of the Triple-A Tucson Padres.

Triple-A is one step below a major league baseball team. The Tucson Padres play in the historic and very competitive Pacific Coast League so you are sure to see some spectacular action each and every night. You don’t have to live in Phoenix to experience the best baseball action. Tucson is a baseball capital in its own right.

Although this is the team’s first year in Tucson, they have been very competitive in their four-team division. The season runs parallel to the Major League Baseball season with games beginning in April and running through the end of September, so no matter when you are in town, there will be live baseball action. If the team is lucky enough to make it to the post-season, you could catch games into October. If you are a fan of the majors, you can catch the stars on the verge of making it big. For autograph hunters, the Pacific Coast League is a dream come true.

Even if you are not a fan of the Padres, there is an endless parade of teams who come visit Tucson. In the Padres division you have Sacramento (farm club of the Oakland A’s) Las Vegas (farm team of the Toronto Blue Jays) and Fresno (farm club of the Baltimore Orioles).

In addition to top flight baseball, the Padres also run a series of promotions throughout the season that are sure to make attending a game even more fun. In August, the team is offering a military appreciation night, a jersey night, a firework spectacular and a back to school night. Throw in the fact that tickets start at just $6.50 for general admission and $10.50 to sit right behind the plate and it is easy to see why the Tucson Padres are the hottest ticket in town.

Don’t be surprised to see even younger players out around the Tucson Padres home field. The Kino Sports Complex is made up of 13 fields and is a very popular spot for state-wide and even national tournaments for Little League and other youth baseball leagues. Even softball leagues will flock to this area to play. Baseball is a very serious sport here, and it is easy to see why. The weather in Tucson is perfect year round and many former players choose to retire here. Even the college and high school baseball is widely considered to be the best in the nation.

If you love the game of baseball and you prefer the unique desert surroundings in Tucson instead of Phoenix, rest assured that you’ll get all the exciting baseball action you could ever want right here. Thanks to the re-emergence of Triple-A baseball in Tucson, the future looks bright for baseball!
