My Research on Women’s Capri Pants
My plan was to buy the perfect pair of Capri pants that I can take with me for the vacation. I wasn’t sure which one to buy and so decided to do some research to find one that can be used for various activities during my vacation. The best pair of Capri is an essential item to be taken on every woman’s summer holidays, due to the multitude of use you can derive from this single item. However I understand that a perfect pair for all these activities is not so easy to find, so I went to the market and I started with two leading company in sportswear, one of them was the Women’s Sports Spandex Pants newly released by BodyPost and other one was Sport Capris from Adidas Studio.
I was planning to select one in between these two to accompany me in my summer trip to Hawaii and give it a place as part of my daily athletics kit! I found Adidas Capri pants with three color combinations of “pink/candy/black”, “phantom/fresh candy” and “black/macaw”. The governing color on each pant of Adidas is the black or phantom (seems like a different shade of black) with one more attractive contrasting color at waistband. The pants consist of the Adidas climalite system built into the fabric, designed to wick moisture away from the body.
The BodyPost pants come in a much brighter coral color, as well as the darker anthracite and black versions. They also have their state of the art CLIMALITE system, which is the BodyPost moisture transport system.
Both perform the same job, which is to keep you dry and cool during the extreme workout sessions. So far so good. According to the brand design the Adidas version is casual and sporty style with the Adidas logo printed just below the waistband. BodyPost’s pants are a little different with a cutout design on the backside (that looks very attractive) with gathering detail at the bottom of each leg. Both pants have a deep waistband, which is suitable to all figures. Though, the BodyPost versions also have a drawstring waist option, which is great for adjusting to your personal requirements.
A new material used for the Adidas pants is called ‘sueded polyester’ which feels very soft and lovely. However, though it felt very soft to touch but I felt it may become uncomfortable to wear in hot climate or during an intense workout session. BodyPost pants are made of spandex that I thought might give a little bit “clingy” appearance but it only contains a small part of spandex that doesn’t look ‘clingy’ at all.
The Adidas pants come in four sizes and will cost you 40 dollars, while the BodyPost ones are available in 3 different size options and will cost only $29.50 which seems wallet-friendly. So based on my expectations from a perfect pair of Capri pant, I found that the BodyPost pant is offering me all. The Adidas is a famous brand with excellent quality products and a good sporty appearance but what I was looking for is a bit more than that. The BodyPost Spandex pants are versatile in design and you can wear it on any of occasion. Its high performance sports features will make you feel fully satisfied to add it to your sports kit collection when you return home.
