Post outing clean-up
A trip to the beach or up on the mountains is so much fun and exciting. Minutes or hours before the trip, everyone is usually very excited and thrilled to get to their destination. However, when it is time to pack and leave, people end up drained and exhausted enough to forget the days’ activities; some would even say they’d never want to go on a trip again as the thought of finding plastic bags to store all those wet clothes, leftover food, unwashed utensils and everything else is just a hassle. Cleaning and storing up after an outing is a task that nobody wants to do, still, it has to be done. As a matter of fact, it is very tiring and if you arrive at night time, you’ll be too worn out to even open the bags, which makes it another additional chore tomorrow.
A post camping and beach activity doesn’t have to be as stressful as it may sound if you help each other and stay calm in doing these chores.
While still at the camp site or sea shore, pack up your family camping tents and roll it neatly in its storage bag. If you are using beach pop up camping tents, the easier it is to put them away. If you will be having a picnic in your area, make sure to only use disposable products with biodegradable materials such as paper plates and cups so you wouldn’t have to wash it down the river or beach. Also, bring a garbage bag to gather all your trash and throw it collectively. If you have leftover food, segregate the ones that won’t spoil later that day and the ones that will so you can consume them before they go bad and throw or save the rest for the days to come.
As for wet clothes, let them dry up under the sun for a few minutes before rolling them into a synthetic material which is similar to the ones that camping tents and sleeping bags are made of- that way, your swimwear won’t discolor and stretch.
Once you get home, shake your clothes for any sand or insects and send them to the laundry service or wash them carefully. The hiking tent can be wiped clean prior to putting it in your storage; but be careful when doing so especially if you are dealing with cheap camping tents as they might get torn or chewed on by a rodent while in storage.
Outings are made to be fun and when you assist each other with unpacking, the day will continue to be enjoyable as when you were still on the way to your trip.
