Britain’s Got Talent
The Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity were overjoyed to receive their new Ford Galaxy as the tour support vehicle. The group formed in 2007 as Swift Moves, and won the Street Dance Weekend 2007 competition in their first year together.
Before deciding to enter Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, the group changed their name to Diversity. The group won the third series of Britain’s Got Talent, where all the judges heavily praised their performances throughout the competition.
They went on to perform before Queen Elizabeth at the Royal Variety Show on 7 December 2009, they also was nominated in the Dance section of the final South Bank Show awards and won an award at the Pride of Britain Awards.
The team, aged between 13 and 25 from Essex and East London will be touring in a 2.0 litre TDCi 140PS Ford Galaxy Titanium X. Diversity collected their vehicle from the company’s manufacturing Dagenham Diesel Centre.
Jon Wellsman, Ford Britain sales director, said: “As the Ford car offering the most space and versatility, the Ford Galaxy is well matched to Diversity’s requirements for space for multiple passengers and equipment. Essex is Ford’s spiritual home and I’m delighted that we are able to support another of our county’s favourites.”
Danielle Banjo, Diversity’s manager, said: “The logistics of organising Diversity’s 11 members, plus a couple of managers, to get to all the group’s events are now a lot simpler thanks to Ford’s loan. The lads like their Ford Galaxy’s impressive features such as LED interior lights, USB connectivity and glass panorama roof – all standard on this model.”
