Effects of too much sleep

A great deal of time is actually devoted to understanding how little sleep we get, and just how which can be damaging to us although recent surveys clearly show that getting a lot of sleep could possibly hinder our health and wellness.
There is plenty of research that shows that Americans here are not getting enough sleep; that our lives are so active these days that it is hard for us to fall asleep and then stay asleep. The affects of too little sleep are pretty self evident; drowsiness, lack of concentration, and sluggishness.

When you spend the better part of your day fatigue you naturally assume that that you need more sleep. However, this may not necessarily be the case. There has not been as extensive research on sleep extension as there has been on sleep deprivation, but there is some evidence to show that oversleeping can have an adverse affect on the human body.

In fact, sleep extension can have some of the same affects as sleep deprivation. Instead of feeling refreshed, you feel tired and lethargic. Studies have shown that sleeping more than nine hours can lead to the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. This doesn’t mean that everyone who sleeps more than nine hours will succumb to these health ailments, only that it can play a factor in
contributing to these sicknesses.

A great way of understanding how much sleep you need as an individual is to adjust your bedtime. The goal is to awaken feeling refreshed and energized. By adjusting the time you go to bed each night and evaluating how you feel each morning you can then determine the number of hours you need in order to be fully functioning.

Getting proper rest is one of the most important things we can do to improve our health. Whether that’s five hours for one individual or eight hours for another; it varies based on age, gender, and your lifestyle. Determining what constitutes as the right amount of sleep for you is integral in having a healthy sleep life and subsequently a robust life in general. Also ensuring that you are sleeping in a comfortable environment void of distractions and on mattresses, which provide the proper support of your body type is essential.

Alright I’m Rob, and really, I understand that I haven’t been putting up any articles of late and i also offer my honest apologies to that end. It’s that I have not been receiving anything insane to rant about recently. I’ve been busy reading up a lot though and might wanna write about some things off a few things i happen to be reading up. There is a good resource for the same here. Another good resource is this.
