LED lighting is mostly in use in decorating clubs, pubs, restaurants, museums galleries, corporate offices and others. However, you can see their uses in home lighting too. Conventionally, incandescent or CFL lights are used for home lighting, which represents a colour temperature of 3200 degree Kelvin. Thus, it looks yellowish white there. This light is not as bright as LED and so several offices have switched to LED lighting recently. Although it requires expensive investments from the part of the home owners to switch to LED lighting at the beginning, yet will definitely pay dividends for them in the long run.
