Forced to buy a weird looking car
I remember when the Volkswagen Fox was launched in April 2006, I thought it was a usual looking car and I definitely won’t be buying for myself. My partner wanted to order a brand new one before it was launched but I somehow managed to convince him that the car wasn’t my kind of car.
Even though the Volkswagen Fox was designed to give exceptional space in a high-value, high-quality package, is able to accommodate four large adults, or two occupants plus one cubic metre of luggage with the rear seats folded, I just didn’t like the look of the car.
My son decided to join his dad in changing my mind about buying the car, and so he came with a list of things that was good about the car. He started off with saying that the car has power steering, a CD player, ABS, twin airbags, and then went on with so many others things but I still didn’t change my mind.
My partner tried once again by saying Volkswagen Finance is offering customers who purchase a Volkswagen Fox, a Solutions finance package free servicing for three years or 30,000 miles. The free servicing package comprises lubrication service at 10,000 miles or 12 months; inspection service at 20,000 miles or 24 months; and a lubrication service at 30,000 miles or 36 months.
They eventually gave up but then a year later my partner surprised me by taking me to the used VW fox dealer in Boston and buying it for me.
