With regular practice of yoga, the physical irregularities seem to disappear. Therefore, if a person begins as underweight, he / she tends to gain normal body and weight proportions within due course of time. Postures like shirshasana, matsyasana, chakrasana, ardha chakrasana, shavavasana help in building better digestive system that aids in proper assimilation of food resulting in normalizing of weight.
