Corporations these days resemble modern tribes, especially with their own members, culture and knowledge. Capturing, saving and sharing the collective knowledge of such a corporate tribe can definitely be of great importance for any organization. By using a a variety of different media, such as PowerPoint slides, meetings, whiteboards, text documents, etc, it can be a viable and best mechanism for enhanced interaction between participants. Organizations can use searchable video or audio recording wherein verbal knowledge can easily be captured and made available to everyone in the organization through simple video search. Additionally subject matter experts will no longer need to learn new software or create additional documents. They simply need to present their knowledge through online meetings or web conferences, the same can be done, using online meeting software.The main aim is to ensure that knowledge sharing becomes an intelligent process and also is reusable and searchable without too much of a hassle.
