Game of Thrones dvd season 2 characters are still to be determined, and we’re still getting more news of new faces added to the sophomore series.
One role that Game of Thrones fans have been eagerly waiting to see cast is that of Jaqen H’ghar, the mysterious man who Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) meets during her time with Yoren and the ragtag group of men on their way to join the Night’s Watch at the wall. Now, it’s being reported that German actor Tom Wlaschiha has been cast in the coveted role.

Wlaschiha, who appeared in The Sarah Jane Adventures two-parter “Lost in Time” last year, will portray the mysterious H’ghar, who appeared briefly in the season one finale, “Fire and Blood, ” (though his face was hidden under a hood). H’ghar will serve as a mentor to Arya, though not exactly in a traditional sense.

Wlaschiha, by the way, appeared in the 2008 war film Valkyrie, which also starred Dutch actress Carice van Houten, who has been cast as the sorceress Lady Melisandre of Asshai in Game of Thrones season 2.
Game of Thrones on dvd will return in spring 2012 for its second season.
