There are many techniques associated with proper Horse Training and horse riding lessons. There are quite a few techniques like the modern approach which basically deals with the attitude that a beginner should take. The first step is to start in small areas where the rider should develop an attitude of treating the horse like the leader. The rider is advised to let the horse move as it wants to and thereby gives full control of the entire walk to the horse which allows it to take the path it wants to take. In other words stick to the flow of the horse.
However, such basic lessons do graduate to a more matured level after a lot of practice where the horse is allowed to strut and trot as it pleases in slightly larger grounds and eventually to handling the horse with ease.

One important point to be learnt during riding lessons is to maintain the body balance by sitting right in the middle of the horses back. This means that if a horse bends slightly the rider too should bend slightly in the same direction this way there will be better alignment and the rider will not slip with the saddle.
Yet another important lesson to be learnt is to keep the body quite relaxed and stop being stiff.Remember, a stiff rider always makes the horse uncomfortable and the horse too becomes stiff in its movements thereby making movement pretty difficult. The back, ankles and the shoulders of the rider too should be in perfect harmony with the horse’s movements. The position of the rider’s ankles should be maintained so that it does not disturb he horses movements. Even the back of the rider should be straight so that it is n perfect sync with the horses back alignment.
