Honda Brio small car to launch in September
Honda Motors is going to launch its new hatchback, Honda Brio in the month of September. Honda Motors now wants to make an entry into the hatchback market which is now dominated by Maruti Suzuki India and Hyundai Motors. The Honda Brio price is not yet revealed but as per our sources, the Honda Brio price is expected to be between 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs. The Honda Brio specifications reveal that The car will consist of a powerful engine that will generate the power of 89 BHP.
The launch date for Honda Brio is not revealed but as per our sources, it will be launched in the month of September 2011. The Honda Brio price is expected to between Rs. 4 lakhs and 5 lakhs. It is speculated that the manufacturing of Honda Brio will start at Noida plant near Delhi and then it will be shifted to Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.
As per the Honda Brio specifications, Honda Brio will be powered with a 1.2 litres i-vtec engine which will generate the power of 89 BHP and a torque of 110 Nm. The gearbox consists of five speed options and will give a mileage of 20 kmpl. The Thailand bound Honda Brio gives a mileage of 20 kmpl and Honda Motors expect for the same on Indian roads. The length of the car is 3610 mm, width is 1680 mm and height is 1475 mm. This shows that the car has more space inside.
The Honda Brio price is expected to be between Rs. 4 lakhs and 5 lakhs. It is expected to be the cheapest car ever launched by Honda Motors. Honda Motors is known for its cars for premium segment But hatchback market has more growth in India than any other segment. The hatchback market is being dominated by Maruti Suzuki India and Hyundai Motors. Honda Motors will try to break this dominance by its new car Honda Brio.
Honda motors has also launched Honda City and Honda Jazz and in these cases also it has to lower down the price. The price of Honda City was cut down by 66000 while Honda Jazz is launched by lesser price than its original version to pick up the falling sales.
