The HyBreeze Strap Athletic Generator Top by BodyPost, and Under Armour Interval Singlet Running Tank
I was searching for the best running top for me for a long time. I decided to test two well-known brands BodyPost and Under Armour. I have experienced them out, and judged them against standards I consider to be most important in a running top. In my test both the garment showed enhanced performance and innovative technology in all running conditions. My test was to put them both through a 5 mile sprint, and see not only how comfortable they were, but also how cool and dry they kept me, and how good they looked after the run. I noticed that the BodyPost tank top looks great on my body but it is not the only criteria for choosing a running vest. I must say that I was very pleasantly proved wrong on this, and the BodyPost moisture transport system that is included into the fabric definitely did the job – I still felt cool and dry even towards the end of my faced paced 5 mile run.
It also features an inbuilt bra that provides additional bust support and boasts up my confidence during high intensity work pressure. After a long run I was tired and unable to change my cloths for around half an hour. But by this time I found my vest fully dry and there’s been no sign that I was running so long! I would also feel confident enough to wear this top after an exercise session, for example, to stop for a drink in the bar at the gymnasium, without having to change into something else, as it is very flattering fit and look. After using the top, I also washed it with my daily laundry, and it came out looking just as good with no need to iron. It takes a short time to become dry so you can wear it again soon. This top is available in 2 sizes and also comes in black, white and blue colors. It is offered on the BodyPost website for $28 with delivery.
The Women Interval Singlet by Under Armour appears, on the surface, to be a more serious piece of exercise kit, and as such, I was expecting an advanced performance level from it. I chose the medium which is my standard size, but, I had to switch over for a large size, due to the small sizing of this tops.
The running vest held up well on the run and I felt the Moisture Transportation System and strategic ventilation technology did their job well. Though it felt a little uncomfortable as it seemed to pull strangely at the back of the garments. This was not a huge issue, but still worth noting. It also consist of an anti odor system that keeps you aesthetically pleasant during long run.
A feature which is missing in Under Armour item is the bust support system which I think is very crucial for a running tank top. It is also a little loose and baggy; depending on your choice, you may prefer something more womanly and fitted.
This top is obviously at home in a running or sports actions, but when I am done with my activity I have to change out of it. It is also machine washable and fast drying as the previous one. It comes with just $24.99 from the online stores of UA. According to the above mentioned factors and my needs, I would like to select the BodyPost Sports Generator Top. Because it is not only a useful sport kit but it also includes some features like bust support system that allows you more feminine and flattering appearance, quick cooling and drying technology which you can’t find in other products in the market.
