The HyBreeze Strap Sports Generator Top (BodyPost) VS the Interval Singlet Running Tank (Under Armour)
The best running top that also appears as good as it performs was what I wanted to find. My attention was brought to two potential contenders – the HyBreeze Strap Sports Generator Top by BodyPost, and Under Armour Interval Singlet Running Tank. In my test both the tops showed enhanced performance and cutting edge technology in all running conditions.
I tried both kits with an experiment of 5 mile running and judged the comfort ability, quality, appearance and technical performance of keeping me cool and dry during the run. My first reaction of the BodyPost vest was that it was looked great, but I wasn’t convinced that a garment that had such an emphasis on fashion would have much substance. I have to say that I was very pleasantly proved wrong on this, and the BodyPost moisture transport system that is included into the fabric definitely did the job – I still felt cool and dry even towards the end of my faced paced five mile sprint.
The most common problem of all running vest is that those rides up when working out. I didn’t face that problem with BodyPost vest and it stayed firmly in place during the run. The additional bust support offered by the inbuilt shelf bra was also a welcome addition – something that makes all the difference in comfort and confidence when performing high intensity activity. After a long sprint I was tired and unable to change my cloths for about half an hour. But by this time I found my vest completely dry and there’s been no symptom that I was running so long! The BodyPost tank top makes me comfortable during my hard working periods as well as stylish when I’m am in the bar for a drink or at the gym or hanging around in the city because it has a flattering fit appearance.
You can wash this running vest with your every day laundry and there is no need to iron. It was dry and ready a few hours later all set to be used again. Two different sizes and three different colors are available. All these features come with just $28 including free delivery.
The Women Interval Singlet by Under Armour is chiefly designed as a serious piece of exercise kit and you will get excellent performance from it. I selected the medium which is my usual size, however, I had to exchange for a large size, due to the small sizing of this garment. The top held up well on the run and I felt the Moisture Transportation System and strategic ventilation technology was great in performance. Though it felt a little uncomfortable as it seemed to pull surprisingly at the backside of the garments. This was not a huge issue, but still worth noting.
The vest also consists an ant-odor system which is an extra bonus for extreme activities. A feature which is missing in UA product is the bust support system which I think is very important for a running tank. It is also quite loose and baggy; based on your preference; you may prefer something more feminine and flattering. This top is definitely at home in a running or athletic environment, but as soon as I am done with my activity I would change out of it. It is also machine washable and fast drying as the previous one. You can have this product from the online stores of UA with $24.99 only. According to all of the above mentioned factors, my overall winner is the BodyPost Athletic Generator Top.
The main reasons why I chose this top is based on the added bust support and more womanly and flattering appearance, whilst still having the cooling and dryness technology offered by the Under Armour top.
