Which one is the perfect running top BodyPost or Under Armour

I decided to try running tops of 2 well-known brands BodyPost and Under Armour. I wanted to find out which one is better. I have tested them out, and judged them against standards I deem to be most important in a running vest.

Both tops are of a similar design, and both claim to offer cutting edge technology to enhance performance in all running conditions. My test was to put them both through a 5 mile run, and see not only how comfortable they were, but also how cool and dry they kept me, and how good they looked after the run. I noticed that the BodyPost vest seems great on my body but it is not the only criteria for choosing a running vest. I must say that I was very pleasantly proved wrong on this, and the BodyPost moisture transport system that is incorporated into the fabric definitely did the job – I still felt cool and dry even towards the end of my faced paced 5 mile sprint.

It includes an inbuilt bra that provides additional bust support and boasts up my confidence during high intensity work pressure. At the end of the run, I was unable to get home to change for around half an hour, and by this time the top was fully dry – actually you were unable to tell I had been working out! The BodyPost tank top makes me comfortable during my hard working periods as well as fashionable when I’m am in the bar for a drink or at the gym or lounging around in the city because it has a flattering fit look. After the use, I washed it with my daily laundry, and it came out looking just as good with no need to iron. It requires a short time to become dry so you can use it again soon. This top is available in 2 sizes and comes in black, white and blue colors.

It is offered on the BodyPost website for $28 including delivery.

The Women Interval Singlet by Under Armour looks, on the surface, to be a more serious piece of running kit, and as such, I was expecting an advanced performance level from it. First I selected the medium size for me but I found that it was a little tight fit.

So I again requested for the large size. The Moisture transport system and the strategic ventilation technology in Under Armour tops give you excellent result on the run. Though it felt a little uncomfortable as it appeared to pull strangely at the backside of the garments. But it did not make a big problem. The running vest also consists an ant odor system that is an extra bonus for long runs. The top, however, does not include any bust support, which I feel is a vital issue for me when selecting a tank top for running. It is also quite loose and baggy; depending on your preference, you may prefer something more womanly and flattering. It will offer you good performance in running and sports environment but you have to change it when you finish your activity.

According to all of the above factors, my overall winner is the BodyPost Sports Generator Top. Because it is not only a useful sport kit but it also includes some options like bust support system that gives you more womanly and flattering look, quick cooling and drying technology which you can’t find in other sports kits in the market.
