2012 Mercedes Benz CLS coming on 8th September
Mercedes Benz is all set to launch a new second Generation Mercedes-Benz CLS on 8th September, this year. The new CLS is a four door coupe which pretends to be more stylish and mature as compared to its existing version. The German giant is likely to bring the new second generation Mercedes CLS as a (CBU) Completely Built Unit. Yet the company has not unveiled any information about the New Mercedes Benz CLS price in India but it is expected that the price will fall in the range of Rs 70 lakh.
Technically, the new 2012 Mercedes Benz CLS will come powered with a 3.5 L, V6 petrol engine which will churns out the maximum power of 306 bhp. The saloon accelerates to the speed of 100 kmph in just 6.1 seconds and attains the maximum speed of 250 kmph. The new 2012 CLS hook up from where its predecessor has left. It is expected that this luxury sedan will give a tough competition to its major rival Audi A6 in the Indian car market. Mercedes Benz CLS had first debuted in the Indian car market in 2004 and since then it continue its winning run till today. Now company is all set launch its second generation which is designed on the same platform with significant modifications in design line.
In the recent past the company had rolled out the new Mercedes Benz C Class on 1st September with two engine options. The petrol variant of Mercedes C Class price in India is started with Rs 29.79 lakh whereas the diesel variant Mercedes Benz C250 price is Rs 32.30 lakh. The Mercedes Benz has tagged its new sedan so competitive in a way to give the tough competition to major rival BMW’s forthcoming BMW 3 series which will be unveiled in the Frankrut Motor Show.
