These days it is just a good excuse for a knee’s up and get together.</p><p>Key themes that we will be looking at this year include the usual Ghost and Monsters but we are also looking at some new lines. The arrival of the Morph suit is likely to have an impact on this year’s party season after recommendations from various celebrities.</p><p>Last year there was much hype about the Harry Potter films and this sparked a lot of interest in Wizards and Broomsticks.</p><p>Toys Story 3 has just been released and this will revitalise interest in Woody and Buzz Lightyear costumes later in the year.</p><p>People are tightening their belts and there is nothing wrong with rummaging through your wardrobes to look for old clothes and then modifying them with a pair of scissors to look the part. Don’t forget that you can add your finishing touches with accessories or makeup.</p>
