Toyota Etios sedan & Liva hatch Diesel to return 23.59 kmpl
Toyota Motors is a leading automobile manufacturer which manufactures and sells different variety of cars. Toyota India is going to launch the diesel versions of Toyota Etios and Toyota Etios Liva. The launch date of the Etios twins is expected to be September 9. The Toyota Etios diesel price and Toyota Etios Liva diesel price is not known yet but it is expected that the price will be Rs 70000 to Rs 80000 more than the price of the petrol versions of the Etios twins. Other cars offered by Toyota Motors are Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla Altis Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Innova, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Toyota Pirus.
The petrol versions of the Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva are already in. The petrol version of the Toyota Etios sedan has been launched last year. The car has a very good response and people liked it very much. Recently Toyota Etios Liva was also launched with only petrol version but it has not got the response similar to Toyota Etios sedan as the price of petrol has gone up lately too and people prefer diesel cars.
The Toyota Etios diesel and Toyota Etios Liva diesel specifications reveal that Toyota Etios and Toyota Etios Liva will be powered by 1.4 litres D-4D engine which will produce the power of 68 BHP and will deliver a mileage of 23.59 kmpl which makes the twins very fuel economical. Earlier it was speculated that the engine of the twins will generate the power of 76 BHP but now it is speculated that the power generation will be 68 BHP. The reason of reduction in power generation is not known yet as other car manufacturers are developing the engines that can produce more power. However, the Etios twins are said to have a fixed geometry turbo charged diesel engine.Toyota previously has launched only the petrol versions of Toyota Etios and Toyota Etios Liva. Toyota Etios is a sedan whereas Toyota Etios Liva is a hatchback. Toyota India has planned to launch the diesel version of Toyota Etios and Toyota Etios Liva on 9th September.
