Tata Indigo e-CS VX launched with a Mileage of 25KMPL
Tata Motors launched their most fuel efficient sedan named Tata Indigo e-CS VX in India on September 5, 2011. Tata Indigo e-CS VX claims to deliver a mileage of 25 kilometer per liter, certified by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). The Tata Indigo e-CS VX CR4 diesel engine is priced at Rs 580,339 (Ex-showroom price Delhi) and the petrol variant of Tata Indigo e-CS VX price in India is Rs. 497,727 (ex-showroom Delhi).Tata Indigo e-CS VX features a SMART Engine Management System chip that involves perfectly calibrating engine components every micro second to optimize functionality like valve timing to air fuel mixture, to pressure volume ratios, compression ratios and synchronizing every engine function to provide 25kmpl mileage. It is affixed by CR4 Common Rail Diesel engine which is capable of generating a power of 70PS @ 4000 RPM. With a maximum torque of 140 NM @1800-3000 RPM, improvements in gear ratios, clutch-to-start and reduction in the weight of the car by around 10 kg
Tata Indigo e-CS VX has a Maximum charge combustion engine which ensures effective intake and circulation of charge thus reduces pumping friction losses and maximum charge combustion which increases the fuel efficiency and power. Apart from this car is designed with optimized Gear ratios to provide best fuel efficiency and drive ability.
