Cystic Acne
Acne is partly hereditary, and a lot of people know that already. However, this does not explain how or why even people in the same family suffer from it in different ways, while others in the same family don’t suffer from it at all. There are indeed several factors that are known to be linked to acne, but since all the answers are not yet available, the research continues still, and you must learn first before you attempt treatment.
I have been told that acne drugs and medication never really cure you; basically your body cures itself. The medications are there to help your body remember to cure itself; otherwise they provide it with the strength it needs to combat certain situations. Curing acne is therefore, largely, not done by the acne medication you use, but by your own body. The choice of medication, though, does have to be made by the physician and not you; so that you do not choose something that hurts you more than it helps you.
Dirt, dust and secretions underneath your skin’s surface allows for the growth of yeast and bacteria. This is not a good thing because, in response to the bacterial and yeast growth, your skin inadvertently gets inflamed. The visible lesion that is produced by this incidence is what you get to call acne. Knowing this will help you avoid getting dust and secretions into your skin. Very difficult, yes, but you can at least avoid them to a certain degree.
Nodules and inflammatory cysts often appear on people’s skins when they are going to be getting severe acne. One of the more severe forms of the condition is known as cystic acne, known to occur specifically when the foregoing happens. Watch out for the cysts and nodules, and the events that bring them about.
