Koyote is software that converts videos among various formats. It enjoys with a very basic function of converting. I agree that it has very simple tools and options, which may cover a narrow area of conversion needs.
When I used Koyote to convert my videos, I found a wide range of supported formats such as, AVI, MP4, iPod, PSP, 3GP , Zune, iPhone, FLV, MKV, WMV, ASF, MOV, MPEG, RM, VCD, VOB. But really, it sometimes works well with a specific format but unfortunately, it stops working with other formats. This bad luck happened when I tried to convert my flv to mov format to watch on mac. So, I had to search the web for another ideal flv to mov converter.
Another issue during conversion, I was able to watch the video through the conversion process but frame by frame and there is no a preview to see the result after the conversion.
The available formats are in shape of preferences; nevertheless, I was able to easily twist them to meet my needs.
