Review of Certina DS Caimano
Switzerland is a magic land that cultivates a great number of world-know watches brands. While most Swiss watches are high-priced, there are still not a few brands that produce good watches that are reasonably priced. Certina is right one of them. It is very popular in most countries and regions of the world. But it is a pity that just a few Certina watches are available in the US –one of the largest watch market on this planet.
This year, a handsome new model is added to Certina DS Caimano line. This new model comes with classic style yet has a subtle avant garde feel. And it has a few versions for both men and women. Most versions are crafted from stainless steel and fitted with high quality leather straps or steel bracelet. They are either powered by Swiss ETA quartz movements or Swiss made automatic movments. Surprisingly, I also notice there is a version made of titanium. Beating inside must be a Swiss ETA quartz movement.
The dials are interestingly simple and thus highly legible. They composed of three numerals, 8 slim stick markers and a date window at 6 o’clock position. And the dials are avaible in several colors including silver and black..
I have no idea about the case diameter. But I do not think they will have very large case due to the fact that the thin structure will make them look much larger than their real sizes.
According to Certina, the new DS Caimano watches will hit market very soon. And they just ask for a few hundred dollars. That sounds very attractive. Just a few hundred bucks, you have a genuine watch of Swiss quality. You know, even an high-end replica watch costs you that amount.
