Mortgage Recruiter
Attention all loan officers, mortgage consultants, loan originators, financial planners, branch mangers, bankers, financial consultants and lenders. When researching the options of the next mortgage company to work for, make sure you are working with a Job Recruiter or Head Hunter that understands the industry you are working in. Otherwise they don’t really have the knowledge or skills to fully understand your request and goals you are trying to achieve when you are placed in a new mortgage company. Also make sure your recruiter or head hunter works with several companies so you know you have options and they are not only supplying you a one size fits all option.
So how do you know if your recruiter has any experience in the industry go check out their Linkedin account, or facebook. You can usually tell what kind of experience they have and where they have worked based on their past job history and current title. You also can find out what companies they are associated with based on their profiles or even website. This will help improve your options and opportunities.
More questions to ask your recruiter:
. How long does the onboard process take
. What kind of onboard marketing program is given to loan officers
. How long does it take to get all of your access
. Where is the processor and underwriter located
. Any leads available
. How many loans on average is your office closing\
. What type of events are setup for loan officers to meet realtors
. What type of marketing programs are available and being used
. Will they take care of your membership for any Realtor Associations
. When will your business cards be ready
I hope my article was helpful, and you have a better experience with your next opportunity.
Good Luck
