Renault all set to launch Renault Modus in Indian car market. As this hatchback Modus spotted on streets of Chennai, while undergoing testing. Renault India is expected to launch both the petrol and diesel variants of all new Renault Modus. Renault Modus price in India Renault Modus price in India is yet to be announced. Renault Modus seems to be a taller version of Renault Clio, with a MUV like spacing.
Renault Modus reviews suggest that for petrol variant it will be adorned with an 1.2 liter 16 valve petrol engine which delivers a maximum power of 75 bhp and for diesel variant it delivers a maximum power of 88 bhp. The engine of Modus might get 5 speed manual gear-box for petrol variant and six speed manual gear- box for diesel variant which provide power to it’s all four wheels at every shift. Modus offers an ample boot space and has a high roof-line. It is also expected that it would offer an ABS(Anti-Braking System) and airbags on both driver and passenger sides.
Renault Modus interior is expected to be integrated with hi-tech features without compromising the safety of driver and passengers. Renault might remove features like automatic climate control and automatic headlights and wipers to keep the price low. It is expected that it would features an adjustable rear bench which increases the boot space.
Modus small cars would compete with cars of same hatchback segment like Hyundai i-20, Honda jazz and the Ford Figo. Renault recently launched the high price Koleos Crossover in India. It is speculated that Renault India will expose this car in India at the 2012 Auto Expo and Launch in Mid 2012. Renault Modus pictures suggest that it will be a next generation car. So, with all this features and several other features Modus soon to be launched in Indian car market.
