Solve X-5=-2
Here, you just simply transfer -5 to the other side of equal to (=) sign then the negative sign will convert into positive sign and results 3 for x.
A system of linear equation is a collection of linear equations involving the same set of variables. To understand of solving systems of equations we take an example,
3x + 2y – z = 1
2x – 2y + 4z = -2
-2x + y – 2z = 0
The above three equations are the three linear equations in the form of X, Y, Z. A solution to a linear system is an assignment of numbers to the variables such that all the equations simultaneously satisfied. A solution to the system to the above is given by,
X = 1,
Y = – 2 and,
Z = – 2.
