Chris Farrell by Someone who has done the courses
Chris Farrell is just one of the many courses I have personally taken during my extensive research to discover just what are the reputable affiliate programs available out there. You know the courses that actually do have real potential to help you build a successful internet business. Let me be a little more specific – I have taken two of his courses – my findings I will share with you and were as follows:
. Course 1 – this is an excellent course for anyone at the newbie or beginner stage with online marketing and is looking for a decent starting point amongst all the affiliate programs out there. Having said that there is much information here that will also be helpful to the intermediate online marketer also.
In this course Chris Farrell looks at the anatomy of a website and breaks down for us how a website actually works. This can actually be quite useful – how many times do you think you know something but if someone asked you to give an explanation you might hesitate? This helps you to get it crystal clear in your mind.
Here Chris Farrell covers such topics as putting together a single web page (some basic HTML comes into play), generating a giveaway (an eBook for example), buying and hosting your domain, autoresponders (setting up and running) and some basic principles to get you started.
By the end of day 15 with Chris Farrell you actually have a complete “business engine” up and running – no mean achievement if you are starting from ground zero!
. Course2 – In the second of the courses Chris Farrell concentrates on the subject of driving traffic to your newly constructed web property. Various techniques are discussed but interestingly he only briefly touches on the subject of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). He prefers rather to concentrate on other methods of building your list of prospective clients such as forum posting, email signatures, personal contacts etc.- okay, I won’t go into the full list here suffice to say that in this second course he concentrates on other means of driving traffic other than search engine optimization
Chris Farrell Summary – I would say I was pretty happy with what I saw. This six figure mentor, who is in fact an ex UK radio personality, puts his material across in an easy to understand, step-by-step fashion which is perfect when you are starting out and looking for reputable affiliate programs.
