Expenses on Clouds will Reach $9.4 Billion in 2015

According to IDC’s projection, in 2015 the expenses on public and private clouds will reach $3.6 billion and $5.8 billion respectively. Nowadays numerous IT companies implement cloud computing and give their employees an opportunity to access corporate data on any device and at any time they want.

IDC senior research analyst, Katie Broderick asserts “These evolutionary, and revolutionary, changes in IT deployment and business attitudes are having aprofound impact on traditional IT environments. Cloud computing can dramatically simplify administrating and managing many companies’ datacenters and position IT as a service organization for the rest of the company.”

It worth saying that cloud computing implementation and usage can be very beneficial for companies, but it is quite unsafe to store the business related information on public clouds, because of their vulnerability. It is known that such clouds usually have an elementary server infrastructure that can be easily compromised by the third party.

A lot of money spent to solve the cloud and security question. This is the main reason why many IT businesses prefer to work with their own private clouds, invest large amount of their budget in qualitative hardware for their clouds’ security and hire professionals to support business cloud computing.
