to its very own Tata Nano which started with a Rs.1 lakh price tag at its launch.

The unique, out of the world creation is built from pure gold as a promotional initiative by Goldplus jewelry, part of Titan Industries (a subsidiary of Tata) at
its facility in Bangalore. The mega-value mini-sized Nano Car was unveiled on Monday evening by Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata.

Some time back, media was prevailing the speculation that Tata Nano will expose and go convertible. However, the reality is Nano has come up with a showpiece
appearance more elegantly wrapped with 3 million worth comprising 78 kg of 22 carat gold, 15 kg of silver and 10,000 precious and semi precious stones all over it.
Thirty artists were employed to decorate the tiny Nano car.

precious metals and stones,” said C.K. Venkataraman, COO, jewelry division.
