The Brightest Sunshine – Sunglasses
On May 4th 2008, I took part in the mountain climbing as a member of mountaineering party. We set out early in the morning to see the sunrise. Along with us, I found a young girl wearing sunglasses. She took a stick to keep forward with hard steps. I gave her my hand to help her go ahead. Through our talking, I knew she lost her vision when she was 6, but she had been dreaming of seeing the sunrise on top of the mountain. She wanted to feel the warmth of the sunshine. She told me that she was a girl who loves beauty and warmth. “I am healthy in both mind and body. The love of beauty is an essential part of all healthy human nature, so I love beauty. That’s why I want to feel the sunshine here.”
That was her birthday of eighteen, and the sunrise was the best present for her. She told me that she wanted to enjoy the warmth of the brightest sunshine when she became an adult, which was her dream. She tried her best to make it come true no matter how hard it was.
With our efforts, we arrived at the top and viewed the whole process of sunrise. The girl enjoyed the brightest sunshine although she couldn’t see. She could feel. “It is the most beautiful scenery which I want to cherish all my life. I am the brightest girl.”
She gave her favorite sunglasses to me for thanking my help and kindness.
Only when we have an optimistic thinking about our future and pursue it heart and soul can we live a bright life, and every girl can be a healthy and beautiful girl who can enjoy the warmest sunshine everyday.
