Mercedes rolls out Mercedes S Class Saffronart
Yesterday, Mercedes Benz India has launched a limited edition of it’s Mercedes Benz S class named as Mercedes Benz S Class Saffronart in Indian auto market. Only two such cars are exposed at the event held in Mumbai. Mercedes S Class Saffronart price in India is Rs. 1.14 cr. The exclusive S Class Saffronart saloon car has been produced specially for Saffronart’s annual Autumn Online Auction of Modern & Contemporary Indian Art. The Price of regular edition of S Class in India starts at Rs 85.57 lakh and goes up to Rs 99.37 lakh.
Mercedes Benz S Class review suggest that the all new S Class Saffronart come with an integration of a powerful 5461cc, 5.5 litre V8 engine which delivers a maximum power of 388PS and a maximum torque of 54Kgm. The new S Class can accelerate to 100 kmph in 5.4 sec and the top speed is limited to 250 kph. In India Mercedes Benz S Class is available in petrol variant and the diesel variant of the same is expected to come soon. The two special edition of S Class Saffronart’s are petrol driven.
The regular edition of Mercedes Benz S Class adorn a 3498cc petrol engine with some excellent safety and comfort features. The car offers numerous sensors, driving assistance and intelligent electronic systems. The interior of all new S Class fitted with features to entertain passengers with an MP3 CD player with DVD and the 8-inch display for the COMAND interface. The front seats of the car comes with various safety technology which includes active headrests and seats that automatically adjust during an accident to keep the passenger and driver safe. The interior of the car is very attractive as the steering wheel also gets wooden trim that makes it an exclusive in the same segment.
