Pride of the South : Golden Chariot
The itinerary, “Pride of the South” offers you 7 nights and 8 days magnificent sojourn. The train commences its journey from the splendid city, Bangalore, where you will check in at Taj West End hotel. There a presentation on the Golden Chariot train will be given to you regarding your whole journey. After that, you will visit the Chitrakala Parishad to see the cultural show from where you will be taken to Yeswanthpur Railway Station to embark on a regal extravaganza.
On day 2 you will wake up by the placid river Kabini. After a leisurely breakfast aboard the train, you’ll be taken on a sightseeing spree to the Bandipur National Park. Explore the ancient of Badami Chalukyas on the firsr half of your 6th day of journey. Famous for its rock cut and sandstone cave temples, Badami used to be a major city when the early Chalukyas ruled much of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Early morning on the 7th day of the journey, the train reaches the tiny emerald Goa squeezed between the Arabian Sea and the Aravali Hill Range. After having your breakfast onboard, you will be taken to the sightseeing trip across Goa and after that you will visit Portuguese house, Goa market, etc. Later, you will be taken to Majorda Beach Resort for lunch and Ayurvedic massage and leisure. In the evening you will have your dinner onboard.
You will be back to Bangalore on the 8th day and final day of your journey and after the breakfast a farewell awaits at the Yeshwantpur Railway Station.
