Honda Brio to hit the Indian roads on 28th of September
Honda Motors have never ever disappointed its consumers. It has always offered them huge variety of products according to the consumers’ pocket size. This time around Honda Motors is all geared up to make its consumers happier through a small car. This small car manufactured by Honda Motors is known as Honda Brio. Rumor has it that Honda Brio will be a direct competition to other small cars of India, which includes, Maruti Alto, Maruti swift, Maruti Ritz, Hyundai Santro, and others. Earlier, there was a buzz in the Indian car market that Honda Brio will hit the Indian roads in the festive season (month of October), but looks like it’s going to surprise its consumers early. Reports suggest that Honda Brio will be launched on 28th of September.
So far, Honda Motors will launch Honda Brio with only petrol engine. Although, it is pretty evident that presently, there is enormous demand for diesel cars in India and with such a high demand, Honda launching a petrol variant car could become a reason to worry for Honda Motors. To balance out the situation, Honda Motors will have to keep the Honda Brio Price competitive and affordable, specially to beat Maruti Alto in the competition. However, till now Honda Motors haven’t revealed any kind of pricing details of Honda Brio, but a buzz in the market suggests that Honda Brio price will be kept below Rs. 5 lakh.
The new Honda Brio review says that it is not only aesthetically pleasant but it is also very technically sound. The small car by Honda will come packed with 1.2 litre of i-VTEC engine, which is also present in Honda Jazz hatchback. As compared to Honda Jazz, Honda Brio will churn out impressive power, which would be around 88 BHP together with 109 Nm of torque at the rate of 4,600 rpm.
Furthermore, Honda Brio review suggest that this compact car weighs much lighter and is much more fuel efficient when compared to Honda Jazz. Honda Jazz has a fuel economy of 18.4 km per litre whereas Honda Brio will have a fuel economy more than what Honda Jazz. Other major features of Honda Brio include in ABS with EBD, airbags, power windows along with power steering, music system, and USB connectivity. Apparently, the new Honda Brio will be launched in three different variants, viz. Honda Brio V, Honda Brio E and Honda Brio S.
