Save Food And Money With LG Refrigerators
Earlier this year, LG’s Refrigeration Report established that over half of all UK households’ waste is 10% of the food they purchase – with a fifth of the population wasting over 25% of their food shop.
Due to possibilities such as poor food storage – £5 billion worth of food goes to waste each year – we look to LG refrigerators and see how they could offer alternatives to disposing of our otherwise edible foodstuffs.
Energy Saving & Fresh Food
All LG non-plumbed, water and ice refrigerators come with key features such as a Moisture Balance crisper – this ensures optimum moisture levels are maintained in foodstuffs, with even the trickiest of contents such as vegetables, staying fresher, for longer.
In addition, each fridge is rated ‘A’ for energy, making it the most efficient and cost effective choice available.
No plumbing – No fuss
LG offers a wide range of beautifully designed side-by-side refrigerator/freezers that rely solely on an electrical socket – the world’s first non-plumbed water and ice fridge freezers.
Expect no more unsightly hoses emitting from behind the refrigerator, nor major re-designs and plumbing works to accommodate your new item.
A slim line addition to any kitchen, LG’s products – whether it be refrigerators, Smartphones or Televisions – are all designed to fulfill their function, but also their design demands to the max.
Water & Ice Dispenser
How, without plumbing, can a water and ice dispenser exist? Well, it’s simple really.
You merely fill the removable water dispenser tank inside the refrigerator door, and you’ll have icy cold water and chunky or crushed ice in no time at all.
How it works is that water is pumped around the freezer section and back to provide ice, all self contained, eliminating the need for plumbing. And you can also replace the water tank with your own two-litre bottle of shop-bought mineral water, giving your water and ice the added zing of natural minerals.
