LG UK Presents Wavedom Technology
With many of us leading fast paced lives, juggling work, family, relationships and the like; there seems to be no time left to focus on the fundamental aspects of home life, in particular – meal times.
In a world where taking the time to cook a meal has become a luxury, as well as an event in your social or family calendar, it means that the rest of the time, lunch and dinner are required to be not only fulfilling and nutritious, but on the table in a matter of minutes.
The conventional microwave has for some time fulfilled the requirements of meals in an instant, i.e. 6-10 minutes, however, as time becomes more and more restricted, the technology needs to evolve.
LG UK have recognised this need, and here we look at their Wavedom technology.
Wavedom: Quick, Easy & Clean
LG’s Wavedom microwave is nothing short of unique; with its rounded cavity, its shape generates heightened internal wave reflection, which results in meals being cooked in a matter of minutes as opposed to ten or more with more conventional microwave ovens.
The Wavedom can cook food up to 30% faster than the conventional square cavity microwave oven, giving you 60% more cooking space so you can cook more food with less hassle (the Wavedom can hold a plate up to thirty-six centimetres wide).
With no internal corners – it is also much easier to clean.
Auto Cook
The Wavedom’s Auto Cook function allows you to cook your favourite meals quickly and easily, simple by selecting the food type on the microwave and entering the weight of the food. That’s it!
Auto Reheat
For some time, reheating food has often resulted in over-cooked, dried out results. Unlike conventional microwave ovens, the Wavedom’s Auto Reheat function allows you to reheat food but without cooking it.
Even simpler, the oven has been pre-programmed to automatically reheat the food specific to the food group; chose from soup/sauce, chilled ready meal and frozen food.
Auto Defrost
Hotspots can often be an issue when defrosting using a conventional microwave, but not when it comes to LG’s Wavedom technology; the oven has four microwave defrost settings which defrost the food without having hotspots; meat, poultry, fish and bread.
Each food group is provided with a different category as each is individually programmed to that specific food.
