How Dr Miguel Delgado Jr. Went International
The medical journey of Dr Miguel Delgado Jr. began when he completed his medical degree in 1982 in UCSF. An honors student, he enrolled right after in John Hopkins University and completed his internship with flying colors as well. From Maryland, he transferred to New York in order to complete his residency at one of the state’s most prestigious medical facilities, Stony Brook University Medical Center. In 1988, Delgado claimed one of the highly coveted positions in the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group. He stayed there for a year before opening his own practice right next to the Novato Community Hospital. After more than a decade, the hospital was relocated to Rowland Way and like many other local physicians in the area, Delgado also accompanied the hospital in its move. It was there that he established the Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center, which he successfully turned into one of the most efficiently run private surgical clinics. It provided first class care for all its patients and which is made even more distinguishable with its concierge service and state of the art equipment.
Due to the increasing demand for the services of his clinic, Dr Miguel Delgado Jr. also opened another branch, this time just a block away from the famous Union Square. Both branches allowed Delgado to keep pre-operative and post-operative appointments and treatments as well as office procedures such as consultations and other non-medical procedures. All surgeries were however strictly performed in the original surgery clinic of Delgado in Novato.
The Novato clinic of Dr Miguel Delgado Jr has received numerous visits from famous personalities and groups since its opening. This includes reporters from world renowned networks like Fox News, Discovery Asia, and BBC. These groups had been filming documentaries related to the services offered by Delgado, hence its inclusion. Such documentaries include 2006’s Male Breast Reduction and What’s Good for You, 2008’s Gynecomastia and Male breast Reduction Surgery and lastly, 2009’s The Truth about Beauty, which was filmed by England’s ITV1. Due to these documentaries, Delgado’s fame had spread through different continents, making him one of the country’s top cosmetic surgeons.
