Not a Storage Shelving
Storage Shelving is a handy way to accommodate the growing number of possessions many people have today. Storage shelving can be used in houses, apartments, condominiums, offices, businesses, and stores. While storage shelving is becoming more and more common, it is actually an old concept with a new purpose. Tools and tools were also kept on early storage shelving, where they could be accessed easily and often.
As the name implies, a structure or framework that are built to house pallets. Often, the pallet racks are made of steel piping, and may include cast iron netting on each level. Typically, the racks are open on all sides. This design makes it easy to store empty pallets as well as pallets that are loaded with supplies or finished goods. Pallets can be stacked on top of one another, and then inserted into each section of the racks for storage. Usually a pallet truck or forklift will be used to slide under the bottom pallet and transport the stack to its destination.
Corner units are sold as part of many shelving systems for books. These corner shelving sections allow for book collections to cover more than one wall. Both freestanding and wall-mounted book shelving systems sold in furniture stores may include at least a few adjustable shelves so the height can be varied. While the stationary shelves in most of these systems are designed to hold books of standard height, adjustable shelving can be raised or lowered to fit exceptionally tall or short books.
