After graduating from the Pennsylvania State University with major in Finance and Economy on 1977, Lindsay Rosenwald fulfilled his dream of becoming a doctor. He attended his medical school at the Temple University School of Medicine. After finishing his degree in medicine in 1983, he got accepted for an internship at the Abington Medical Center. However, before he went to medical school, he worked as a management consultant for a number of health care companies from 1977 to 1979. Since graduating from Temple University, Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald remained in his private medical practice until 1986.
Dr. Rosenwald had his first job in Wall Street as a physician and analyst. The position Rosenwald held was an exclusive one since, at that time, only few people practice it. The Temple University graduate erased the stereotype that doctors would not be good investors by excelling in his position. His eagerness in growing of investment capital available for the health care sector was the main reason of his success in Wall Street. Another Wall Street firm tapped Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald as their new managing director for corporate finance on 1988. Rosenwald worked for three years in D. H. Blair & Company before deciding to focus on a new venture.
Since getting out of D. H. Blair & Company, Rosenwald filled his portfolio with impressive records. He acquired several biotech organizations which he used for the growth of both the corporate and biotechnology sectors. His numerous companies are separate entities but work towards a goal and even support each other.
Through his firms, Rosenwald had his defining moment. Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald was able to develop a drug in the quickest possible time, setting a record in the medical industry. Their Arsenic Trioxide was researched, tested, approved, and delivered to the market for only a little over two years. The said drug is used for managing leukemia.
Dr. Rosenwald has had success with his companies. It can be attributed to the fact that they only hire top performing PHDs, MDs, MBAs, and other medical specialists for their senior level professionals. The workers always continue to develop new medicines from time to time to provide more medications for different ailments and illnesses.
