My First Experience of Online Shopping

For me, shopping online is of great convenience, which could save my time and effort. With several years experience on online shopping, I have had both very bad and very good experience.
I still remember the first time that I went shopping online when I was 16. At that time, I would like to buy a dress as a birthday gift for my best friend Susan. Since the time was limited, I had no choice but went shopping on the Internet. I searched the internet and then was attracted by a shop selling a beautiful dress that was exactly what my best friend Susan looking for. So I chatted with the shopkeeper and he promised that he would deliver the dress to Susan before her birthday. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver the dress to Susan on the day promised. And then the order finally turned up three days after my friend’s birthday with the wrong size. That was totally a disaster for me as I tended to give a surprise for my best friend on her birthday.
It is an unforgettable and embarrassed experience for me and I had learned a lesson about how to purchase online. From then on, every time I want to buy something online, I would pay more attention to buy from a reliable shop and make sure that the site is secure. Most important of all, I would make sure that the delivery time of the order is clearly detailed before making the payment. That’s an essential way to make sure that I could get the right goods on the right time.
