Here are the simple steps that you need to follow which will help you to build a fiberglass body.

1. The whole process starts with accumulating the parts required to build the body. No matter whether it is a car or a boat, you have to plan and draw the design accordingly. You must find out the right way in which they will have to be assembled and get all the necessary panels that will be needed at a later stage. Getting the exact shape and size of the body is another crucial point where you will have to focus a lot.

2. Then you will have to cut the sheets into the desired shape. These sheets will be used as the interior of the vehicle. Keeping in mind the four corners of a vehicle, you will have to assemble the sheets using the various tools like nuts, bolts etc.

4. In the next part, on the body foam lamination of gel coat is to be furnished. You will need to lay sheet of Fiberglass cloth over it, on the surface of which you will have to paint with a coat of resin. This process needs to be continued for three to four times and let the final resin coat dry well.

And, the result of this whole process is nothing but your desired body foam with lamination of fiberglass.
