Solar cells maker
A solar panel is a device meant to absorb energy from the Polycrystalline Solar Modules, either for immediate use or for storage. There are two main types of solar panels: photovoltaic modules and solar thermal collectors. Photovoltaic modules are meant to convert the sun’s energy into electrical energy, to power things like lights, computers, or cars. Solar thermal collectors are built to absorb the sun’s energy directly as heat energy, and are often used to heat water for showers, or to heat water that can be forced through a structure to heat it.
Raw sunlight contains a number of energized particles, including the all-important photon. When photons from the sun strike one side of an array of solar panels, they essentially cause electrons to break off from one panel, cross a thin membrane and attach themselves to another panel. The crossing of the freed electrons is what generates a usable electrical current.
A Solar Cells manufacturer works, most simply, by absorbing sunlight. The photons from the light run into the solar cell and are absorbed by some sort of semiconducting material. Most contemporary solar cells are made out of silicon, although other substances are being experimented with as semiconductors to make solar cells more cost effective and environmentally friendly. Electrons are then freed from their host atom, and they move freely as electricity. From the solar cell this electricity then passes through a larger array, where it is turned into direct current (DC) electricity.
