Replica Watch Review IWC 3719 Aquatimer Slevin
I just received my brand new IWC 3719 Aquatimer “Slevin” from an online replica watch dealer. And I would like share some thoughts on my replica IWC.
It was a few months ago that I realized I was getting too old for Breitling watches that I had loved for many years. And I find that IWC always make more understated and cleaner aviator and divers watches than Breiting. And they maybe suit me – a man on the way to 40 much better.
While most people loved the the Cousteau special editions of this model, I went for this regular 3719 Aquatimer. It is sized at 42mm with nice black and white contrast. Beating inside is an Asian 7750 movement that has not been modified. I really love this mechanism. The Day/date wheel looks ok to my amateur eyes as well. And I love the soft rubber strap as well
What really bugs the hell of me it the double anti-reflective coating. It is really blue.I know people have been saying blue tint that and blue rep AR this.But of all the reps I have owned I have never experienced strong blue AR until now.Maybe it is because its a rep that have been out some time and it is fitted with a older formula of AR?I have no idea but it really bugs me.
I know people are going to say that I should send it away to be modded, but I do not have the patience to be without my watch.I either buy my watched already modded or keep them like the guangzhou factories intended them to look
I suspect it will help somewhat if I remove the top layer of AR?Is it a easy job so even I can do it? The crystal is sapphire.Could someone please explain to me how to do it without taking the watch apart.
But even with the blue AR I’m loving this watch. And if a good modded one shows up for sale, I think I will open wallet and pay for it.
