The 3D TV Family Grows At LG
LG recently announced their latest addition to their 3D TV family, which will see the latest model showcase full nano technology.
The LW980T series will be added to the already wide range available in their Cinema 3D TV range.
Consumers can choose between two screen sizes – 47 or 55 inch – both offering passive 3D and Smart TV technology, in a 1920×1080 resolution with a motion clarity index of 1000Hz.
“The unique Nano Full LED screen creates brighter, clearer and smoother pictures; and allows the TV design to be slimmer than ever before,” said a spokesperson for LG, adding that the latest addition ‘provides the best in 2D, 3D and SmartTV.’

LG’s Cinema 3D is so called because it is considered the closest you will get to the 3D viewing quality and experience you get in the cinema.
LG’s range of Cinema 3D TVs are designed with LG’s exclusive FPR (Film-type Patterned Retarder) panel. The FPR panel optimises the separation of images into an image for the left eye and another for the right. These two images are ‘filtered’ through the Cinema 3D glasses

Weighing only 16 grams – almost half the weight of conventional 3D glasses – Cinema 3D users are provided with a comfortable viewing experience in home-appropriate screen dimensions ranging from 32 inches to 55 inches.
When you buy a Cinema 3D TV, you are provided with an extensive seven pairs of polarised glasses, with extras pairs costing only £2 each.
