Timber Expo 2011 is the first exhibition in the UK to bring together the timber industry under one roof. Held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 27th and 28th September 2011, the inaugural Timber Expo was attended by more than 4,000 representatives from the world of timber. Kerridge Commercial Systems was pleased to be among the exhibitors at the expo dubbed by the Timber Trades Journal as a “stunning success”, sharing with exhibition attendees the far-reaching capabilities of the K8 system as timber merchant software.
K8 is helping to modernise the timber industry by allowing timber merchants large and small to harness the function-rich K8 trading and financial platform in order to streamline their business practices. The show, which this year was sold out, is set to expand next year into an adjacent hall at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, making next year’s expo 50% larger. Event organisers say that 40% of next year’s event has already been booked by exhibitors. Speaking on the second day of this year’s event, Loretta Sales, event director, said “Everyone is really happy with the quality of people that have come.
