Import and play AVCHD files on DivX Pro 7 for Mac

I’ve recently bought a Canon HF100 HD video camera, which saves home mo vie files to AVCHD with an .MTS extension. I want to play it on DivX Player for Mac. but the files just show up as a ‘question mark’ and I’m unable to play them.so what do I need to do to get it to stream my HD media?!
