WFG Women Find Strength in the Financial Industry
WFG women like Kristi Sorensen have found many opportunities to build a strong financial future, excel in the business world, and help individuals and families in their communities to accomplish the same goals. After Kristi and her husband Billy Sorensen were introduced to the opportunities that were available to them through this insurance and financial services company back in 2001, it was Kristi who first decided to go from client to associate. With experience in the medical insurance industry and plenty of knowledge of the company from CEO Marketing Director Rich Cunningham, she was ready to excel in this business.
Kristi was impressed by the opportunities with World Financial Group, especially considering how unpredictable the economy could be in her and Billy’s hometown of Talmage, Utah, where they still live. Although the pair has always been good with their finances, they have seen how the boom and bust of the local oil fields has affected their community. And as business owners themselves – the couple runs a welding and construction company – they have also experienced firsthand how important sound, prudent, and caring financial advice can be. As a WFG associate, one of Kristi’s most important goals is helping other individuals and families in the area have a strong financial foundation, even when times are tough. She strives to spread the word about the importance of saving and being aware of how money is spent.
Like many other WFG women who are driven to succeed with their own businesses, Kristi Sorensen balances work and family. With a husband and two children, she has her hands full. Luckily, Kristi and Billy are also great business partners, in addition to being a great couple and great parents. They have been in business together since Kristi left her job in the medical insurance industry to work with Billy at his welding and construction business. They began working with Rich Cunningham at World Financial Group to get the business’ finances in order, and realized right away that he was a trustworthy person who was in the business to help people.
It was Cunningham who originally saw how savvy Kristi was and invited her to become a company associate, knowing she would be a good fit for this type of business. Being passionate about her community has proven to be one of Kristi’s most important attributes with this insurance and financial services company. She is a true testament to the good work that WFG women are doing.
