Stirling Castle
If you are thinking about traveling to Scotland in the near future, may I recommend you to place Stirling Castle on your list of things to do. I am not one to frequent historical sites, or even attend museums for that matter. I think this was a result of the multiple history classes that I had to attend in high school, but I cannot say for certain. Nevertheless, as a result of the group that I was in, it was offered that we take a trip to this particular site. Not wanting to be a wet towel, I decided to give it a try. We had done many of the things that I wanted to do while in Scotland, including whiskey tasting, so I figured it was only appropriate that I compromise somewhat for the sake of the group. Yet, the trip to Stirling Castle turned out to be one of the most exciting activities that we did.
I am not sure if it was the atmosphere, or the engaging tour guide that we employed, but I have vivid memories of this particular sight. It was absolutely amazing to be in such a historical sight that I even purchased a book on the castle. I doubt that I will get through the entire thing, but it does serve as a keepsake. Besides from our castle trip, I also found the Hotels in Cairngorms to be of interest. Although our Central Glasgow hotel was amazing, all the Hotels in Cairngorms have certain aspects that deserve one’s attention. There is just a charm that each and everyone hotel has that is difficult to describe. If you want to explore Stirling Castle, I do recommend staying at the Central Glasgow hotel for the convenience factor.
Any amount of time spent in Scotland will be wonderful. I can not say enough positive things about this wonderful country. It is an adventure of a lifetime.
